Who controls YOUR Life?

- Is it your boss, your parents, your partner, your friends, your neighbour or your children?

- OR IS IT JUST YOUR FEAR HABITS?

For most of us life is like a merry-go-round with a lot of habits that make us do the same things day after day, time after time, without giving them much thought, or maybe without even being aware that we a running on autopilot.

Your car knows the same route you have to take every morning going to work, and you may not even be aware of where it takes you, because your thoughts are elsewhere. May be you are thinking of the boss, which mood is he in to day? Am I living up to his expectations? Is my job in danger? How am I going to pay the rent next month? And so on and so forth.

You may not be among those people who feel and think like that. But my point is just to say that many of us are controlled by people or forces beyound our immediate control. Sometimes all kinds of fears enter our minds and paralyze our ability to take action.

A vicious circle

We can be stuck in a vicious circle, without knowing how to break out and become masters of our own life. In fact, lots of us can be so paralyzed that we do not think that it is at all possible to feel free and live the life we long for. We tend to be satisfied with the circumstances sorrounding us. We unwillingly accept that we are not getting the salary we think we deserve, or the lack of freedom from work we feel we need. Of course we have some benefits from being stuck in the box. For instance, we have a few weeks holiday each year, but really not long enough for all we want to do with our family.

What we all want is a life full of joy, love and care for our families, friends and people all over.

Of course we also get some benefits from being stuck in the vicious circle. We are paid for the time we spend in the job. That makes it possible to feed and shelter our family. An however dissatisfied we may be, we feel at least a little comfortable by knowing that our friends, our colleagues and all the ones we know, are in the same situation. If it´s bad for me then it is also bad for them too. So we bear with it and we automatically reject thougts that make us uncomfortable.

In other words: We live in a “Comfort Zone”, which it will take an effort on our part to escape from.

But why do we tolerate being controlled by outside forces?

One answer could be that we tend to turn our eyes away from the opportunities life has to offer.

Instead we watch the media and see lots or people who have made it out and become more free to live a life of their own choice without thinking that at could be oneself. Often we may think that they have just been born to it, or just been plain lucky. Rarely we stop and look at what really took them there to their goal or their dream.

But what do we have to do in order to break out of the vicious circle where we feel stuck, thanks to all the circumstances and impressions we have been subject to all through our upbringing and schooling?

Is it possible to escape by taking action which is contrary to the “normal” pattern in our surroundings? What will our parents, our partner, our friends think? Will they shut me out and call me stupid or something worse?

Breaking out of the box

Yes, it is absolutely possible to break out of the box without turning everyone against you, but only if you have the courage and stamina to act as a leader. Because leaders have five important qualities that make them leaders:
They have vision, they have courage, they have the ability to cooperate, they are willing to take responsibility and they take action without waiting for everybody else.

By being a leader with a vision you can set your goals. You can develop a belief and conviction that you are going to reach the goal by the time you decide.

You can become one of those people who are admired and envyed by others, and you will be able to enjoy being responsible for your surrounding family and people in general. In other words you will become free.

And with the Freedom comes the ability to act in a way that will bring financial independence and the ability to do good things with the money you earn.

“Do the thing you fear, and the Death of Fear is certain”, a wise man said.
