You see chocking facts out there about how many people everywhere are wasting opportunities and ending up in the mouse trap without knowing that a Privileged Lifestyle is within reach.

 

Here are some of the facts taken from the statistics in the US. Facts which should make every person – especially the young people – wanting to take immediate action in order to avoid the mouse trap of life which so many people fall in. The mouse trap lies in the way most of us are brought up by our well meaning parents. We are taught to go to school, get a good education and a good job. Our parents used to be right giving this piece of advice, but statistics show that the old values are no longer as safe as they used to be. Jobs are no longer secure and the financial burden of running a home and a family force us to work harder and harder with less and less security.

Did you – by the way – know that

- 1 out of 5 persons works 2 jobs in order to make ends meet? –

- The majority of people at 65 are no better off than they were at 18?

Stress is a serious threat in modern life

I read a report in a Danish weekly newsletter that Stress is becoming a growing and terrifying threat to the Danish work force.

It says that if you look around among your colleagues, almost one out of six has had the uncomfortable experience of having to stay at home from work due to stress. More than three out of four are said to have felt the impact of stress within the latest month.

Consequences are alarming, because stress is often followed by serious illness such as blood-clot, cardio vascular diseases, depressions and the feeling of being burnt out.

According to official statistics up to 25% of absence from work is due to stress. If you combine this figure with other official figures from the Danish Ministry of Employment, you see a picture of a monstrous problem for the whole Society. It means that 35,000 Danes stay at home from work every day, costing the Employers and the Danish Society $1,3 billion a year.

Looking for an alternative way of making a living

No wonder that a lot of employees would like to find an alternative to selling their time for money rather than having their lives and the lives of their family ruined because of the growing demands on the job.

As another Professor specializing in stress related problems points out in a report, 10-12 % of all Danes can be said to suffer from stress each and every day. The bad thing about it is that it can take years to recover from stress once you have gone down. And even after that long period the victims can easily be knocked over once again.

Here is the answer

The answer is to stay away from jobs where you get stressed. Rather try something absolutely different. Something which satisfies some of peoples´ dreams and makes them feel in control of their own life.
